The Empress Theatre is the only remaining theatre of its kind still standing in Vallejo, having repeatedly dodged the wrecking ball unlike the Crown, Hanlon and Rio.
Parking
Arrive early for the best possible parking. A large, free open-air lot is located directly across the street from the Empress Theatre. There is also ample free street parking in all of the blocks surrounding the Empress.
Three additional large open-air lots may be found two blocks from the theater on York Street between Sonoma Blvd & Marin Streets and also between Marin and Sacramento Streets.
